2.6 PRINCE2 ComponentsPRINCE2 uses product-based planning. Product is used to describe everything that the project has to create or change, however physical or otherwise this may be. Components - are advice and guidance on project management. The 8 components represent the “key areas of what is recognised as best practice” and cover: Business Case, Organisation , Plans , Controls, Management of Risks, Quality in a project environment, Configuration management, Change control
